Waffles have been available in Chennai for quite some time now. Exact replicas of the original not until now. Introducing Waf O' Bel. A place one can enjoy absolutely original waffles. The way they are meant to be!
Food:
They have two types of Waffles here: Liege Waffles and Brussels Waffles. Both can be loaded with different toppings of choice or a pre-chosen permutation. They do serve up some hot coffees apart from these.
We were a small set of 3 people. Each of us decided to have one waffle each. We picked two Dream Team on Brussels Waffles and a classic Liege Waffles. We were informed that they were out of batter for the Liege Waffles, but since we insisted we wanted a Liege Waffle, they whipped up a quick one, which they assured will not be up to the actual taste and refused payment for the same.
Ambiance:
Simple three table and maybe around ten chairs make up the place. Also they share space with Eatza which was previously known as Sams Pizza.
Service:
It was quiet quick, no comments here.
Price:
We paid only for the Brussels Waffles so are bill was Rs 280/-
